Supply Chain Management Analyst
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to inventory, procurement, logistics, and supplier performance.
- Develop and maintain regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order fulfilment, inventory turnover, and supply chain costs.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve supply chain performance, efficiency, and cost savings.

Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and turnover to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Assist in demand forecasting and supply planning to align inventory levels with sales and operational requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and work to improve stock accuracy and efficiency.

Supply Chain Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies across the supply chain.
- Support the implementation of strategies to optimize inventory, reduce lead times, and improve overall service delivery.
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline logistics, improve order fulfilment, and enhance product availability.

Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management:
- Assist in the analysis of supplier performance, focusing on quality, delivery times, and pricing.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure that suppliers meet expectations and contractual obligations.
- Support the identification of alternative suppliers and negotiate terms to ensure competitiveness and reliability.

Forecasting & Demand Planning:
- Assist in demand forecasting by analysing historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal variations.
- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, production, and marketing) to ensure accurate demand forecasting and supply planning.
- Monitor the forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments as necessary to align supply with demand.

Logistics & Transportation Coordination:
- Analyse and optimize transportation routes and costs to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and internal teams to ensure the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers.
- Monitor transportation performance and address issues such as delays, damages, or cost overruns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with teams in purchasing, operations, and finance to gather data, share insights, and support supply chain decision-making.
- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, such as new product launches, supplier evaluations, and cost reduction projects.
- Work with IT or data teams to implement and maintain supply chain management software and reporting tools.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with trends and best practices in supply chain management, logistics, and technology.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the supply chain operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance the overall supply chain performance.
