IT System Administrator

Job Description


ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As an integral part of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our business operations and enhancing our service delivery.

  • Oversee and maintain server infrastructure and network security.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
  • Ensure system uptime and reliability by proactively managing hardware and software updates.
  • Conduct regular audits and backups to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve complex issues.

Required Profile


We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in IT systems administration. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Expertise in server management (Windows/Linux environments).
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical server or network incidents.
  • In-depth knowledge of network configurations, VLANs, and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 and other relevant IT security standards.
  • Certifications preferred: Azure cloud,MCP,CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
