IT Support Engineer

Job Description

ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical support to our clients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring optimal system performance. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
  • Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure smooth integration of CRM, ticketing systems, and omnichannel communication platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot voice call quality and connectivity issues.
  • Assist end-users with hardware/software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations and workflows.

Required Profile

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled IT Support Engineer with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Hands-on experience with contact center voice solutions such as Cisco, or any other related PABX for CC solutions.
  • Knowledge of VoIP, SIP protocols, and PBX systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure environments.
  • Certifications preferred: CCNP Collaboration, MCSA, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent.
  • Ensure 24/7 coverage for IT help desk support to address end-user queries promptly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Certification in IT support or related field is a plus.
