Job Description
The Analyst - Insurance is responsible for assisting in the administration of corporate insurance programs, ensuring adequate coverage, processing claims, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role supports the Senior Insurance Analyst in managing risk exposure and optimizing insurance-related costs.
Claims Management:
• Oversee and manage insurance claims related to property damage, liability, employee benefits, and other corporate risks.
• Investigate claims, ensuring timely processing and settlement.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external insurers to facilitate claims resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all claims and settlements.
Risk Assessment and Analysis:
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate Company's exposure to potential losses.
• Provide recommendations on risk mitigation strategies, including insurance and alternative risk transfer methods.
• Analyse industry trends, benchmarking insurance coverage and costs with peer organizations.
Financial and Reporting Responsibilities:
• Prepare reports on insurance coverage, claims history, and financial impacts.
• Monitor insurance expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary allocations.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to insurance matters.
Stakeholder Coordination:
• Work closely with procurement, legal, engineering, and operations teams to assess insurance requirements.
• Provide expert advice to senior management on insurance related matters.
• Develop training programs to raise awareness of insurance policies and claim procedures within Organization.
