Facilities Cleaning Team Lead

Job Description

ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced Facilities Cleaning Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Qatar. This is a full-time, permanent position within the service industry, offering a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team of cleaning professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in facilities management and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

  • Lead and supervise, train, and evaluate the team of cleaning staff to ensure all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee daily environmental services operations, including waste management, recycling, and sanitation.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address and resolve any cleaning-related issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory of environmental supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and proper usage to ensure compliance with KPIs.
  • Ensure all environmental services equipment is well-maintained and operational.
  • Prepare reports for management as required.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports on cleaning activities and team performance to management.

Required Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in facilities management and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience at least 3 Years'  in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and facilities management.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning protocols.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours and adapt to changing schedules as needed.
