Debate Instructor

Job Description

ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a passionate and experienced Debate Instructor to join our team in Qatar. As a Debate Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the communication and critical thinking skills of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and mentor students in the art of debate, fostering an environment that encourages intellectual growth and confidence.

  • Develop and implement engaging debate curricula tailored to various skill levels.
  • Enhance Education in and outside Qatar through the use of debate and debate skills.
  • Conduct regular debate sessions, workshops, and competitions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to students.
  • Organize and oversee debate tournaments and events.
  • Collaborate with other educators to integrate debate skills into broader educational objectives.
  • Stay updated with current debate formats and techniques to ensure a modern and relevant teaching approach.
  • Encourage a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about education and possess a strong background in debate. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a commitment to student development.

  • Bachelor’s in Administration or, equivalent qualification from a reputed university.
  • Professional experience at least 5 years in teaching debate or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of various debate formats and strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of different ages and skill levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work full or part-time as needed.
