Catering Operations Manager

Job description

  • Lead and manage all aspects of catering operations, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise catering staff to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Analyse operational data and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

 

  • Professional experience in catering or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the catering industry.
  • Bachelors in hotel management or equivalent qualification from a reputed university. 1.Minimum 8 years' experience at an equivalent position in a reputed catering company or 5-star hotel
    2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English & Arabic
    3. Strong organisational and time management skills combined with a high level of initiative.
    4. Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services.
    5. Good business and commercial acumen.
    6. Strong leadership and motivating skills including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
    7. Stamina and the ability to work under stress, good at thinking quickly and sorting out.   8. problems on the spot, and the ability to stay calm in a crisis.
    9. Financial, budgeting and stock-taking skills Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including HACCP & ISO 22000) and food preparation.

Mandatory Training Course:

1. Fire Warden Training
2. Certified First Aider Training 
3. Minimum food safety level 4 certification
4. ISO 22000 certified internal auditor
5. Minimum HACCP level 4 certification

Driving Licence:

Qatar Driving license is mandatory.
