Media Relation Specialist
Job Summary
Provide expert support in media engagement and communications by assisting in the development and implementation of comprehensive media relations strategies, ensuring consistent and effective communication across multiple media channels.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert support in the development and implementation of media relations and engagement plans.

Write, edit, translate (English and Arabic), distribute, and monitor press releases.

Conduct all necessary follow-ups arising from press release issuance.

Create and maintain updated media contact lists covering local and international media across all platforms including newspapers, online media, TV, and radio.

Assist in the preparation of reports demonstrating achievements against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Return on Investment (ROI) for media-related efforts.

Manage vendors in compliance with all internal processes, procedures, and policies.

Organize events, including handling logistics and marketing-related requirements.

Support the management of technical aspects of digital platforms used for media communication.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Relations, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in media relations.
- Proven experience in media relations, communications, or public relations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and translation skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong understanding of local and international media landscapes.
- Experience in media monitoring, KPI reporting, and ROI analysis.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools.
