Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and supporting management with timely financial insights. The role requires strong accounting expertise, leadership capability, and experience within a structured corporate or group environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable Qatar financial and tax regulations

Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes

Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities

Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management

Review reconciliations (bank, intercompany, balance sheet accounts)

Support financial planning, cost control, and management reporting

Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to internal controls

Assist in improving accounting systems, policies, and procedures
